Stourbridge Shuttle operator Pre Metro Operations has been officially recognised by a rail industry body as an approved supplier of services to the railway industry.
The Railway Industry Supplier Qualification Scheme (RISQS) helps suppliers sell into the British railway industry by providing an open, efficient, fair and transparent way for their capabilities to be assessed for the products and services they provide. Pre Metro Operations’ Stourbridge Shuttle operation has been independently audited, which now enables other companies and public bodies to assess its strengths and capabilities.
Pre Metro Operations Director Steve Jasper said:
“This recognition is a positive step forward towards the potential replication of our award-winning service elsewhere in the UK. There is a lot of interest in our eco-friendly operation, and this makes it easier to demonstrate what we do and how it might be applied in other locations”.
RISQS is supported by the Rail Safety and Standards Board and is used by Network Rail, London Underground and 116 other buyers with over 4,300 supplier members throughout the GB rail industry.
Pre Metro Operations runs the Stourbridge Shuttle in partnership with London Midland.
