The Mayor of Dudley Councillor Dave Tyler has visited Stourbridge Shuttle Operator Pre Metro Operations Ltd as part of his pledge to visit 100 local businesses during his year of office.
Greeted by Operations Director Steve Jasper and Head of Operations Andy Merrell, The Mayor was taken on board the Stourbridge Shuttle for a trip and shown around the depot facilities at Stourbridge Junction. He was also given a presentation on future potential light rail operations by the company, as it seeks to expand its light rail business model both in the Black Country and further afield. He also met with operational and engineering personnel.
Operations Director Steve Jasper said;
“We’re very proud of our Stourbridge Shuttle operation and are increasingly recognised for our operational excellence within the light rail industry. Hosting a visit from the Mayor of Dudley is very important to us as a business. Innovation and environmentally-friendly transport is what we do, and we’re very pleased to have the Mayor’s support”.
