During October & November 2016, there is some engineering work going on that may affect your journey on Snow Hill lines:
Sat 8th Oct AND Sun 9th October: Birmingham Snow Hill to & from Stratford upon Avon: due to some work on tunnels, some journeys are replaced by buses. These involve journeys via the Shirley / Whitlocks End route. Journeys via the Solihull route will continue to be operate by train. Please check on online journey planners, ask at the ticket office, or call National rail enquiries on 03457 48 49 50 for details. Also please note that unfolded bicycles cannot be carried by replacement buses at any time.
25 Oct – 6 Nov: due to engineering works taking place between Birmingham, Redditch & Bromsgrove, some Snow Hill line services are affected, due to diverted long-distance services. Journeys serving Lye, Old Hill & Langley Green will see a revised stopping pattern during this period:
On Monday-Friday during this period, off-peak journeys starting at xx:57 minutes past each hour from Stourbridge Junction towards Birmingham will be cancelled, with the following service departing at xx:07 minutes past the hour stopping at Lye, Old Hill and Langley Green. From Birmingham Snow Hill station, the xx:23 off-peak service will be cancelled, with the xx:33 making stops at Langley Green, Old Hill and Lye.
